1. What is water cycle?

Answer: The water cycle is how water moves from sea to sky and back. Sun heats sea water. It becomes vapour. Vapour makes clouds. Clouds give rain. Rain goes back to sea in rivers.

2. Write the process of making pottery.

Answer: Take wet clay. Make a pot shape on a wheel. Dry the pot in the sun. Bake the pot in a kiln to make it hard.

3. Write the benefits of saving water.

Answer:We will have water for drinking. Plants and animals will live. Farmers can grow food. We can use water tomorrow also.

4. Write the importance of air in daily life.

Answer:We breathe air to live. Plants use air to make food. Air helps us burn fire to cook. Windmills make electricity from air.

5. What measures should be taken to prevent shortage of natural resources?

Answer:Save water and do not waste it. Plant more trees. Do not cut forests. Use solar and wind energy. Reuse and recycle things.

4. Make a list of the containers in which water is stored in your home.
