1.3 THE SEED

Do you know?

The names of seeds:

When do the seeds grow?

ANS : Seeds grow in the rainy season or when they get water, soil, and sunlight.

(1) Listen and sing.

A seed so small beneath a ground,

Becomes a tree that’s strong and sound.

It drinks the rain and feels the sun,

And soon its life has just begun.

It sends its roots so deep and tight,

To hold it firm both day and night.

The leaves go green, the branches spread,

The birds make nests above my head.

The tree gives shade, the flowers bloom,

it fills the air with sweet perfume.

From tiny seed to giant tree,

What wondrous thing a seed can be!
